So anyone who knows me really well knows that my brain is currently leaking quite a bit of anatomy and physiology terms (because I am always studying it and it is the only thing on my mind right now besides nutrition class.So in anatomy and physiology there are two terms used to describe nearer to and farthest..they are proximal and distal.
Well the other day someone asked me where a restarant was and i told them what street it was on. They then informed me that there were two of this particular restaraunt on that street. They asked me which one i was talking about the one closer to us or farther from us. Well...without thinking i said the proximal one. As my friend looked at me in confusion i stared back at her wondering why she was looking at me like I was retarded. She then finally said, "Allyson what is distal.?" Haha just goes to show I guess I am learning something in my anatomy and physiology lab class. Needless to say, my friend thinks I am weird now and is constantly asking me questions to try and use weird terms like this again so she can tease me.
